Career & Education Advisory Council (CEAC)

About CEAC

The Career and Education Advisory Council (CEAC) connects employers and educators with technical assistance to build career training programs.

The CEAC serves in an advisory capacity to the Michigan Works! West Central Workforce Development Board (WDB) and may advise its members regarding youth-related activities. The CEAC service area consists of the counties of Lake, Mason, Mecosta, Newaygo, Oceana and Osceola.

The CEAC is made up of members of local employers, labor unions, educators (post secondary, CTE, ISD, Adult-Ed.), public school parents and a WDB member. A complete breakdown of the required members is available in the CEAC Bylaws below.

The CEAC meets 3 times annually. Its next meeting will be held virtually at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. To view the full meeting schedule, click here.
